Now after my business can have its own mobile application, how it will look like?

Before you become sure about the answer, in the first place you should know the types and the categories of mobile apps.

Mobile applications are classified according to

1- the basis of technologies used to create them

2- the platforms that they are running on.

Accordingly, there are 3 types of mobile applications :

1- Native apps:

A native app developed for iOS operating system won’t work on Android devices and vice-versa.

Because they are developed for particular platforms, If at all the app developed for iOS has to support Android version, you need to build a whole new application for Android.

2- Mobile web apps:

This type of apps are used to render/deliver pages on web browsers and to run them in different mobile devices

You can view a mobile web app on Android, iOS or Windows tablets and phone devices.

3- Hybrid apps:

This type is a mixture of both native and mobile web apps “Hybrid apps may simply get the best of both worlds”

Native apps are developed for specific platforms.

While, web apps can work globally, and developed for multiple platforms.

Hybrid apps can work with/without an internet connection, they also work on multiple and different platforms.

These apps are designed to be well-integrated with the web-based services as well as device files system.

NOW after knowing about the types of mobile applications, let’s break down industries and functionalities to some of the mobile applications categories

1.Lifestyle mobile apps

A lifestyle app is that one which, accelerates or facilitate the individual daily routines that could be related to food, travel, health,music…etc.

These apps considered as a part of the user’s lifestyle and he will be using them on daily basis.
